Gonna be self filming hunts this spring in some ameristep blinds and was wondering if anyone has any tips?
Thanks
If sitting inside a blind is your thing then you shouldn't have a problem. You can get away with all the movement in the world so not much else to say. . . . get him in the viewfinder, make sure the red rec button is flashing and take care of business.
If you're outside the blind, I suggest you get a cameraman or a shooter. :toothy9:
about like I thought!
thanks for the tip!

if you do it outside the blind get a good set of decoys and put the camera on them on the tripod. If he comes to them great! if not, kill him anyway and you will at least have good audio and a much more vivid memory of the hunt.
buy a good tripod with a fluid head. Mannfrotto gets my vote.
A good external mic. Rode makes some good ones. Be sure and get a windscreen.
Practice, practice, practice. Operating the camera should be second nature before you enter the turkey woods.
