Title: Black bear hunt?
Post by: jbennett on November 19, 2015, 10:56:08 PM
I know this is turkey related but I thought I'd put it out there anyways. I am wanting info on a good outfitter to bear hunt with. Not wanting to break the bank but I really want to give this a try. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've hunted with WaWang in Ontario, and they have a fairly high success/opportunity rate.  The 3 of us in our party all tagged bears on the first day two years ago, and fished the rest of the week and beat up the walleye pretty good. We went up to grouse hunt and fish this year. I believe every hunter seen bears. They have different packages, but I think with the hunt and tag its right around 1500 for the basic package where you provide your own food.  If you fish you'll just have to rent a boat $300/wk.
