i got my great great granfathers winchester 70 ranger in 30-06 from my grandfather my great grandfather didnt deer hunt he only bird hunted and from my understanding the gun has only been fired 5-6 times before it was cased up for the last 20 something years its virtually new

you got that right i knew my great grandfather he passed away when i was fairly young but the only thing i knew of him hunting was upland game so to hear he had this gun was a surprise
