Title: Western Pennsylvania
Post by: woodshopteacher on October 03, 2015, 07:21:23 PM
After hunting the last 20 years in Ohio only miles away from the Pennsylvania line I decided to by a license for over their. My main reason was because duck season comes in two weeks earlier and I really want to get a nice wood duck. Well now I get a fall and spring turkey tag too so looks like I'll be chasing PA toms. Anyone got any advice, not asking for spots. I'll prob hunt state gamelands.

General location would be helpful.  North, South, middle?  How far are you willing to travel?

I am in the Youngstown area. I have alot of family in beaver county but have been looking into gamelands within 2 hours.

A hop on I-80 and a 2 hour drive east should drive you past a pickup load of gobblers on public land.

Hint:  Buy yourself a Pennsylvania Atlas & Gazeteer.   ;)
