I would like to hear if anyone has any kills with copper pots? And whose pots they are. I have a kruer a gresser and a yingling but I keep going back to glass an slate for success...maybe it's just a confidence factor!!
I called one in for me son this year using a copper call. I use lights out Osage copper with a ceder striker, I've had great success using this call.
I used a Yingling Copper this year and the birds answered it as good as any other surface. The calls of his that I own are pure turkey.
I would like to try one.
Here's one with a Yingling copper.

I've killed several birds with my Gresser Cocobolo copper...deadly call..one of my top 2 calls
2 with A Yingling on the opener in CO this year. One down at 11 minutes into the season another in the same spot 3 hour later.
2 of the 6 birds i saw go down this year did so at the hands of a yingling copper with canarywood striker
Love my copper calls. Favorite is over glass in a cocobolo pot by Bobby Vanover. Matched with a zebrawood striker, the birds cant resist it. They definitely have a unique ring to them. The metallic pop on the backside of the 2-note yelp is what hooks them.

I would think any call you pull out your vest u got have confidence in ,,iam a fan of copper surface calls ,,, called up 3 birds this year in little time I have had to hunt didn't get chance pull the trigger HA and its good to see and hear the coppers are working
I guess I should have more confidence in the metallic sound that they give off...i like mike yinglings copper and the gresser copper the best I just need to stick with them more
My buddy and I killed a bird the first week of the WV season with me calling with my Yingling copper over slate. I was using his fiber rod striker.
My first bird this year came in to a Kruer Copper and my Titanium calls.
