Title: Nebraska regs?
Post by: Dtrkyman on May 08, 2015, 02:16:32 PM
Once the shotgun season starts we are allowed to use either weapon on our shotgun permits correct?  I thought that was how it worked, but see they list them for sale separately.

Yes - you can use a more primitive weapon at any time

Archer is archery only.  Shotgun is shotgun or archery.

This is correct.  The tags do not even specify which weapon they are for.  The two I got this year just say "2015 Non-Resident Spring Turkey", and the same goes for the tags my family bought.

Up until shotgun opens up, you can only use those tags with archery equipment, and then once shotgun opens up, you can use any weapon you want to fill those tags.

The tags used to be listed separately, not even that long ago, maybe 2-3 seasons ago they combined them....
