I hunted in Ct last week and ended up getting a jake from collateral damage,wounded the one i was shooting at and ended up killing his buddy. When I put My Gun Up to take the Shot I found out that my Magnetic sight was not on the front of my gun, I later found it on the back seat of my car. Without the bead on the front of the gun the hi viz sight slips off the front of the rail pretty easy. Nothing to score it only had a six inch beard and just bumps for spurs. We had other nice birds working later in the week just never got the shot. I have hunted three days in Pa and have yet to hear a gobble .Hopefully things get better
where are you at in PA. I live in SWPA and would be down to share some spots. I got a jake this morning.
4 came in, long beard struts behind tree, jake struts out behind tree, 870 barks, jake flops, long beard runs off.
