Title: Pa. Gobbler #1 2015

Pa. season opened Sat. 5/2/15, and shot this gobbler today 5/4/15 at 8:15 am., 21 lb., 9 3/8" beard, & 1" spurs. Now I was standing only 40 yds. from his roost tree this morning, never roosted in this area, this spring. Figured I'd be looking for another bird today, and end up shooting him 300 yds. from his roost tree in a open field. Funny how things work out.
