This fella and his buddy were roosted together and acted just like they were supposed to Saturday morning. They gobbled hard on the tree and I got set down about 100 yds away. When they hit the the ground I was able to coax them up out of a swampy creek bottom about 6:30 to some subtle calling on a Primos True Double mouth call. I'm pretty sure one of the two was the same one I missed last Saturday morning. This one died about 50 yds from where the one I missed was standing. Now its on to Nebraska and Kansas next weekend.
