Had a jake not give me a clear shot at 50 yesterday and some hens at 10 ft. As always, had fun and learned some stuff and new places and the countdown to next march begins.

Looking like tomorrow will close out the worst season I've had in 20 years. Barring a miracle tomorrow in SC, I'll end blanked in FLA & SC, and 1 for 3 on opportunities in NC.
Had some exciting hunts, and it darned sure beat being at work, but it's still a let down. Still, there's nowhere to go from there but UP!!! :icon_thumright:

Stupid turkeys. 15 days total on 3 different WMA's and never even clicked the safety off. This has been by far the toughest spring season I have had. Time to break out the bow fishing equipment and make them scaly critters pay. ;D
