Got to do a little patterning in between thunderstorms with my new Franchi.
First choke was a Primos Tightwad = 134 in the 10"

Second was a Carlson .575 = 137

In my Affinity I use the HW7s and the Carlson' 575. I'm getting high 140s. Contrary to popular opinion, mine shoots better with a dirty barrel.
I'm shooting a Carlsons .575 and Hevi shot 7's out of my Affinity 20. It averages in the mid 150's. That's with a dirty barrel as well.
I'm going to run a few dove loads through it and see if a dirty barrel makes a difference.
I tried Federal HW 7's and Hevishot 7's with the Carlsons .575. After three shots of each load at 40 yards the Hevishot averaged higher and it has less shot. Just wanted to let you know how I got my average.
Thanks for posting this, I have the Affinity compact with a carlsons .575. I was wondering how these patterned from that rig. May have to invest in a few boxes of the HW7s. :icon_thumright:
