What's everyone been getting pattern wise out of the new hevi metal ?

I doubt you'll find many people here shooting hevi metal for turkeys.  Those shells are half hevi shot and half steel.  Steel is significantly less dense than lead and is a terrible material for turkey loads.  I don't even know why they make those in turkey loads.  Waterfowl they're great, but turkeys, I wouldn't even try them.

If it's got steel in the load then you can't run it through turkey chokes.

Interesting read Clark, I had never heard of this round but it's all my local academy stocks now
