I have an older style mossberg 835 and want to put a pistol grip stock on.Does anyone know if I can and what brand?
As far as I know, two of the most popular stocks are ATI and Knoxx. I have a late 90s model 835 in the green woodlands camo pattern that I installed a knoxx on. I did have to slightly round the back of the trigger assembly housing to get the adapter to mount to the back of the receiver.

The ATI stocks are very high quality products and work well on those guns.
Thanks,

I added the ATI Shotforce to my 835 before season. It makes waiting on the shot much more comfortable. Plus I love the adjustable stock. I also ordered the shell holder for it.
It didn't take away much recoil like I had hoped. Think I'll add a limb saver pad before next season.
I wish I had got this stock along time ago.

This is the only picture I have of the shell holder

Looks like it worked pretty well. You may want a Limbsaver slip-on pad on it.
Thanks,
Clark
I have the Knoxx and wouldn't have one without it now. Really softens the blow. The Forend did take some fitting to make work.

I installed the ATI Talan T2 with the scorpion recoil system. Made a heck of a difference in recoil. You can see the difference in the pad when compared to the turkey tactical straight from Mossberg.
Thanks for the help everyone. I went with the ati Gen 2. Can't wait to put it on.
