Can you shoot hevi or fed heavyweight through an undertaker that says lead only? If not why not? I have one in .572 and one in 582.

Choke tube manufacturers are not required to state what kind of material that they use when making their chokes, such as bar stock, seamless tubing, hardened steel, etc. and we can't tell just by looking at the choke what it's made from.

When a manufacturer puts us on notice that he feels the choke should only be used with lead shot, there may be a good reason and since he knows more about his choke than we can know, it's best to follow those warnings.

There are Undertaker chokes that are rated for tungsten-based shot like Hevi-Shot. If that's the brand you want to use, I'd recommend that you consider one of those.

Thanks,
Clark
