I've stayed off of this site to try to offset some of the anxiety of waiting for opening day and it worked a little bit but the fever is in full force this morning as it is now less than 24 hours until I can start chasing some thunder chickens!!!! I won't sleep a bit tonight!!!

I'm right there with you! I've learned that either way I'm gonna be thinking about turkeys 24-7 so I might as well get on here and see how everyone else is doing. Good luck to you in the morning and be safe!

I've been getting up to listen to then all week. For the most part they have been fired up. If everything goes right I'll have one on the ground in the morn.

1st season doesn't even start until the 13th here! I'm always jealous of you guys farther south who are killing birds in the full swing of my fever!

Have to wait until May 1st here. That's why I've started making trips south each year, I've already gotten six days of hunting in and put a bird on the ground. It makes waiting for our own season a little easier.

It will be over soon enough and then we can all go bass fishing and start the anticipation of deer season...

Good luck and I feel your pain have to wait till the 16th because I am stuck at work on a boat LOL

I hear you, the waiting kills us.  Thank goodness I get to take my son out for youth season tomorrow morning.

Just think about it like this,  here in Florida we're about half way through our season. It won't be long and we'll be jealous of yall that are still chasing them.
