Title: Safe to hunt in?
Post by: deerbasshunter3 on March 30, 2015, 03:54:15 PM
Do y'all think it will be ok to hunt with this hat on, or will it stick out too much to turkeys?

I wouldn't hunt in it...any movement of your head that Yellow logo will be moving.

I'd personally hunt in it. To each their own, of course. If the yellow is a concern, you could put electrical tape or something over it...

I would and do hunt in a cap like that. Only difference is mine is Mossy Oak Obsession. I'm on Pro Staff for Dead End and I've got that same logo. I personally think that yellow ain't gonna hurt anything. Between buttercups, daisies and other wildflowers, yellow is a natural color in the spring woods. Hunt on and succeed and bring that old longbeard down a Dead End Road!!!!

Keep still and you will be fine.  I have hunted with Tan color VT hats and never been an issue!!

I wouldn't worry about, heck I've killed a few birds without facemask along that day and never wear gloves. Be still and don't sit in the wide open.

I wouldn't worry about it. Sitting still is the important thing.
