Had a family gathering this past Saturday so I could only hunt the first couple hours of the day. Wasn't enough time to get to my property so I went with a buddy closer to home on his land. We did not hear a single bird and I couldn't find a track on the entire tract (about 30ish acres). This weekend I'll be going back to the gold mine. I hope this is the weekend for my first bird!
Did anyone with open seasons see anything this weekend?
I got on 2 different birds Saturday morning but they wouldn't play long. Had 2 buddies double Sunday morning. They are hitting there stride around here now and really starting to gobble good.
