I've heard good things about Rhino chokes for years and have a buddy who has one in his SBE but haven't heard any reviews from guys with 835's. Just wondering how well they perform in this gun numbers wise (10" @ 40 yds)?

I don't have an 835 but I shoot a rhino 660 in my 535. I get 140-155 with 3" long beard 4 's and and 150-165 with the 3" 5's
I shoot lead in my 835 and my Rhino .690 threw decent patterns, but not nearly as tight as my Star dot and Indian Creek. From what I read the Rhino's do well with HTL loads, but I shoot lead so it didn't work out for me. I ended up trading the Rhino.
I shot Nitro 4x5x7s thru a .690 Rhino in my 835 for a bit. I didn't count holes, but the pattern definitely had a hot core. That's good if you're going for 10" numbers. HOWEVER, I felt more confident shooting a more evenly spaced 20" pattern that I found using a Jellyhead .690, instead.

So you DO have a star dot for your 835?????
