Most of the people I see from SC are from the low country. Just wondering how many people we have from my part of the state.
I'm in Greenville
Clemson here...
I used to live in Anderson and shot my first turkey in Fants Grove. I have fond memories of my seven years in the upstate. Beautiful country and lots of fun to hunt there.

I still hunt Fants quite a bit...deer, ducks, and turkey...it's a great area to hunt as far as public land goes. With the exception of duck season of course, you got hundreds of Duck Commanders sky busting and walking in on you at daylight. The turkey hunting can be really good at times, not near as much pressure as you see during deer and duck season...it's my little piece of heaven when I don't have time to hunt my leases out of town...
I'm in Elgin (suburbs of Columbia) for the next 14 weeks.
I lived in Abbeville/Greenwood for many years but now reside in Columbia.
Glad to see the Palmetto State represented so well. I'm from Seneca personally which is right next to Clemson.
Catawba in York Co.

Just joined a club up in great falls yesterday. The hour of walking i did revealed some good habitat. Hoping the bird numbers are pretty decent.
Seneca here, grew up hunting Fants and Keowee WMAs. My pops is the Rifle / Archery instructor at Clemson so I still get up there but not as much as I would like. I am now in Charleston and this place has gone off the deep end of the crapper.

I never understood what is so appealing about Charleston. I am not a fan at all.
I lived in North Augusta, S.C.,Belvedere and some other place on the way to the Bomb Plant a couple times and hunted deer and turkey around Edgefield and close to the Savannah River on S.C. side in what was called Piedmont WMA back then. Had good success with both deer and turkeys..especially turkeys.
I worked in Martinez, Ga. and would hunt spring gobblers in Piedmont on the way to work.
Not exactly the upstate, but I'm in Newberry.
