Talked to William at sumtoy today. I asked for a recommendation on constriction of a choke for my benelli. I want to shoot 3-1/2" heavy 13 7's. He suggested a 650 and I ordered one. I then ordered 3 boxes of the heavy weight 7s. I have been shooting mag blends with a 640. My 40 yard patterns are not great. I typically take all my birds 35 yards or less. I got to thinking of that one time I may Mis judge and cripple a bird. Anyone with a similar set up please chime in to how you like the set up. Also what kind of patterns at 40 yards can I expect. Thanks.
I have a SBE 1 with indian creek 665 patterns really well at 40 with 3.5 mag blend and winchester long beard XR #5
650 has been a great option on all benelli barrels (including stoegers and franchis) shooting magblends or 7s. You should see great results from that combo.
i have shoot 650 -665 with a wide variety of chokes in my SBE2 and the 650 and 655 have always been one of the best.
thanks for the replies.

Hevi #7's, IC .665, 24" barrel. Around 300 in a 10" circle, a killer for sure
Haven't shot any 7's but I get pretty good patterns with my Rhino (.660) in my SBE 2 with MagBlends.,
I shoot a Indiana Creek SS .665 with Hevi-13 # 6 shot 2 ounce in a 3 inch shell in my SBE2 and my Super Vinci...i get good patterns out to 45-50 yards...DRT, birds rarely even flop..just stone dead
I shoot a sumtoy .665 and 3 1/2 win supreme elite xr #5s out of my benelli and it patterns great out to 50+
