African Blackwood has always been one of my favorite woods for duck calls so had to try a friction call with it;

Thanks for the comments.  JLH, that one is spoken for but I have another Blackwood blank, choices for surfaces would be glass over glass or slate; slate over glass or slate; or black anodized aluminum over glass or slate. Jim
