Looking to purchase a few new strikers for my copper pots...what woods do you suggest?? Thanks
I like to use a acrylic tip striker on mine.Work well in rain or heavy dew. Kevin
imo I really like my fowler 1 piece dogwood and I have a holly that runs great on it also.
Yingling carbon, Larry Gresser Gaboon Ebony, two piece Lon Trice or Halloran Dymondwood
Will be watching this,I have been thinking of getting a acrylic tipped striker for those wet mornings

Try cane creek cottonmouth.
On my yingling copper, mikes carbon striker and a lights out dymondwood sound great but also sounds good with a halloran macassar ebony and a dnd purpleheart.
