Title: Mossberg SA 20 choke question
Post by: printfish on March 18, 2015, 05:33:25 PM
I haven't been able to find much on chokes for my new sa-20 turkey thug with the 22" barrel...I will be shooting 1 5/8 of #9 TSS... I was looking at the sumtoy .562 or maybe a jeb headhunter but wanted some input before I get one... Does anyone else shoot Tss in a  sa-20 ?
Thank you in advance

I shot a Carlson's .575 out of mine with the 9's and it did 260/250 at 40 yards.  My brother uses a Undertaker .582 in his and it shoots 280/240 at 40 yards.   The Tru-lock .585 did really well too.  The cheap chokes do just as good or better than the high dollar ones.  If I was going to get a Sumtoy, it would be a 562-5 for the 9's.

Save some money and run to Walmart and pick up a primos tightwad... That's what I shoot TSS 9's with. It throws a mean swarm.
