Steve Harrison used to make a tremendous slate call in Osage. To be honest I don't know if Steve is still building calls, maybe someone can shed some light on this?

That can be a long list. Any call maker you choose most likely has osage!

I sure hope Steve Harrison gets back into call making. I have an Osage and a Persimmon slate he made me along with about a dozen strikers. He makes a great pot call and his strikers are right there with the best that I have run.

Osage is my favorite wood to work with and makes a great slate.
