Which pot surface is the loudest and which surface has the highest pitch??
Id have to say a crystal pot call. Copper and Aluminum would fit the bill too.
Aluminum is my choice :turkey2:
I think a slick aluminum has the highest pitch.
Titanium with a cocobolo striker can really reach out there...
John Sinclair makes about the finest titanium call you can find...
He sells them on ebay....a 3" or 3 1/4" pot with titanium over glass will get you what you need....and sound darn good too!
The cool thing about his calls is it can play just a quiet and clear as it does loud.
I'm with footballer on this. Slick aluminum will bust your ears. Crystal would be a close second.
Aluminum no telling how many turkeys I struck during the day last season!
An easier choice would be picking out a surface that doesn't fit the question. LOL . I have heard both Crystal and aluminum calls that make my ears hurt a bit.
My loudest and highest pitched call is an aluminum in maple pot made by jimmy Shaffer. It screams.
I have a scratch box call from Jerry White "Dad" that will literally make your eardrums pulsate when running it..not a pot call surface..but...it's incredible how high and loud it gets!
I'd say most often its Aluminum, Crystal is pretty close
