Title: mossy oak gun skins
Post by: Spitten and drummen on March 10, 2015, 02:19:16 PM
I just ordered the shotgun camo graphics from mossy oak. it fits most guns. my benelli sb2 has a pistol grip on it. I know the kit is not cut to fit this style but I will figure out how to make it work. my question is has anyone used this kit on a shotgun with a pistol grip. if so did it work and look good. thanks.

I was sent a pm saying that the kit probably wont have enough material to do the coverage. was told would probably need another strip for it to completely cover it. I will soon see.

Used one of their kits on my mossberg 500 without a pistol grip. I had plenty left over to do my phone case, and a few of my strikers. I think you would probably have enough left over to "patch" over the pistol grip... But don't hold me to it. ????. Oh by the way, seems like good stuff.

I sent the private message to S&D because I had recently done my SBEII.  he and I had several text conversations last night about application and I hope it turns out well for him.  but i wanted to clarify something as a lot of people may read this thread, I bought the "shotgun kit" but did not have enough material because I covered the pistol grip stock and the factory stock as well.  they only provide enough material for one and it is generally precut for a factory stock shape.  i simply ordered an extra foot of material for $12 which covered the pistol grip stock.  i used the kit to cover the factory stock because it is already precut for it.  for anyone interested in doing this to your gun, TAKE YOUR TIME.  if you rush, you will end up with a bunch of wrinkles in the vinyl wrap which does not look good.

S&D, let us know how it turns out...
