I use a double neoprene one that fits in the pocket of my vest that is for slate calls. I also have another in my vest and I cut the toe section of an old sock off and that keeps it clean and quiet.

I use the Woodhaven call lids & then store them in the vest pocket. I do however have one call that's crystal over slate. For that call, I use the call lid to protect the crystal surface, & put a Bass Pro Shops neoprene cover on "backwards", to cover the bottom slate surface, instead of the normal top playing surface.
