I have a turkey vest that I have used for many years. It is becoming a little threadbare in a couple spots and I already had to replace a zipper. The issue that I have is that my mom bought it for me as a gift and just recently she passed away. I currently have it stored away in good dry and sealed container. I pulled it out and showed it to my buddy the other day and he told me not to hunt in it anymore and save it so my kids could respectively wear it when their time came. I have been kicking this around and don't know what to do. This may sound stupid afterall its just a vest but wanted to know your thoughts. Thanks.
Get yourself a new one and wear that one on one hunt a year, that way your kids will still be able to appreciate it too.
Sounds like a goo idea to me!! I think your kids will really appreciate it.
