There are a few call I would like to order but have long waiting list which is fine. How does payment go do you pay first or after the call is made?
Most callmakers I have dealt with will contact you when the call is finished. Then you send payment. Once they receive payment, they will ship your call.
That is the way I do it I only do 1 year at a time so anyone on the list has to wait 1 year max.
I don't think I would pay for a call that's going to take a long time to get to me. Lots can happen then u don't see your call or money ,,, Now if your getting custom burn or engraving when your calls up for being made thats little different my want some up front
I would say that if a call maker asks for payment up front for a call that's not going to made for a while, you need to look at a different call maker. There are numerous incidents where people have sent money and never got their call. And vice versa. I know call makers have sent calls and never received payment. I can understand a maker asking for payment before he sends the call after its made, but never before he makes it. Especially if they have a waiting list. Except like Mike said, if you are getting custom burning, I could see a down payment, but not full amount.
