Thought I would show some calls made by one of my favorite callmakers, Lamar Williams. Most of you know that Lamar and Steve Mann actually apprenticed under Neil Cost. I love the "Old School" look and sound of Lamar's calls. I believe these can truly be called handmade.

Does Lamar still build boxes?
That one on the bottom right looks familiar :camohat:
He does but I think his wait time is at least two years now, maybe longer.
That's a great looking collection. Hunter22 is right. I talked to Mr. Williams last summer and got on his waiting list. He said about a year and a half on a short box and two and a half on a long box. From what I hear they are well worth the wait.
Lamar makes an amazing call full of craftsmanship and turkey. If you're in no hurry the call is worth the wait. I recommend the wait! Really like his walnut/poplar combination.

Do you have one of his hybrid paddle boxes? Think he only made a few. It sounds awesome.
A Lamar Willliams boxcall is an outstanding caller.
You cannot go wrong with one of Mr Lamar's boxes. Worth the wait.
Fine looking batch of caller Rickey!!!
Great collection of turkey killers!
Very Nice!
A great collection from one of the best!
Mighty fine.
I love Lamar's work! Great group!
Usually the best way to get one of his boxes is at Nashville. No wait but he didn't make it there this year. Glad I bought mine last year.
Fine callers from a fine Gentleman. Congrats Rickey!
Pure and eye and ear candy Rickey!!
I have about 25 of Lamar's boxes & 8 of his paddle calls, plus pots, scratch boxes & wingbones. Hunter22, you need to tighten-up.
Bob
I would love to see them Bob. I really like his stuff. I could not talk him out of a scratch box but got a couple his grandson Tate made. The young man makes a good one. Maybe when you get old and decide to sell some of them I can catch you in a senile moment and buy a few. LOL
Very impressive collection Rickey, I can't tell you take great pride in them.
