Title: John Sinclair Copper Call
Post by: MikeStaten on February 20, 2015, 04:48:38 PM
I don't see much about his calls but I recently picked up a copper call in a bolivian rosewood pot from him on eBay and I must say the sound is great and the fit and finish of the call is among the best out there.

How's the striker that came with the call? He has some particular woods I'm interested in on ebay.

The striker is among the best I have too.  The one I received with the call is bubinga, it plays well on most surfaces.

I have been seeing a lot of his stuff on ebay.  Glad to hear you like it.

He makes an awesome call!

I have his slate, copper, brass and titanium.

They all have a different quality to their sound, and can't say I have a favorite as of yet.

The brass seems like it will be getting the most play for now, it has such a raspy back end...it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when I play it.

but his titanium is just fantastic  as well....it can purr and cluck as soft as you want, and can really scream when you get on it...

He's a great guy to deal with, and truly makes a quality product

Awesome. Good to hear. I've been eye balling a few strikers on ebay and was looking for some opinion on them. They look really good.
