Title: kee kee strikers

Just turned and tuned a pair of rhotodendron kee kee strikers...these are a first....and they do sing!!

Robyn Day won 1st place in the friction calling division using 3 of my strikers.....including the kee striker ;D ;D ;D

That's great Matt,
You must make some real good strikers.
I'm glad I got to meet you at the Convention. I'll be looking for one of those kee strikers. Please let me know when you get time to make some for sale.

Why does a guy need a "kee kee" striker when a good call and striker pairing will kee kee well enough to call in a competition?

You are right a good call and striker will kee well enough to call.....but win????........the individuals whom get on stage do so under microphones that pick up any error.....they want strikers that run flawlessly and with little effort........ there is no warm up you must run the voice perfectly....one wrong squeak or tonal flaw and your done.....also a striker that will produce tone that will progressively  increase in octaves...but will also maintain the yelp at the end.....
