Title: Anyone shot TRUGLO Gobble Stopper Xtreme Choke .665?
Post by: northms on February 04, 2015, 11:46:34 PM
I bought a 12 ga. benelli supernova and guy included this turkey choke.

I have my mind on the primos jelly head .655 but wanted to hear opinions on the choke I have before I put out the money.

In a perfect world I would shoot and test it first, but my days to pattern are very limited and need to be able to do it all in one day with whatever choke and shells I have at hand.

Thanks

It's a good choke tube. It's rated for all lead and tungsten-based shot, including Hevi-13. I'd certainly give it a try before investing in another choke tube of any kind. You may well not need another one.

Thanks,
Clark

Thanks, Clark.  I trust your thoughts and will go it a try first and see how it performs.

I'll be shooting longbeard 3" #6 through it first.

Might save the $$ on the choke and buy a good recoil pad.
