Title: Camo?
Post by: Model 1300 on February 01, 2015, 10:24:49 PM
What is everybody's prefered camo? I like RealTree Xtra. I would like to have a Mossy oak obsession suit or a Realtree xtra green suit for spring but it's all I got. I also like the Mossy Oak Bottom land pattern.

My favorite pants are original MO Breakup, other than that I don't really care. Plan on wearing some woodland this year and bought some of the MO green leaf.

It all works, truth be told a leafy suit is probably the most versatile camo you can get.

Real Tree's Advantage "Timber". It has not been made for a few years but it's my favorite.

Mossy oak preferred fan. Original bottomland, new bottomland, are all time favorites, and I like obsession a lot to and green leaf.   I have more mossy oak than anything but if I need it and real tree is on sale, I wear that too lol

ASAT leafy suit for me. I spent 90.00 on it and can wear whatever I want under it for the most part.

Realtree Xtra or Mossy Oak Breakup
^^^This, but also to be honest, I mix and match sometimes (usually based on what I have clean). My old woodland camo BDU's from the Marines is still a favorite of mine as well....

Mossy Oak New Breakup is my all time favorite camo but I use Realtree AP pants, shirt & cap while turkey hunting.  Then a leafy suit in Mossy Oak Infinity over that.  Hard to beat Realtree AP for blending in with the forrest floor.

Mossy Oak Obsession and Real Tree APG.  To my human eye, the greens match the spring woods better than many others.

I've never been name specific, just been a camo collector for 20+ years. Although this will be my first year turkey hunting, won't decide what to grab until I know what the foliage situation will be. now thing i think is important is to mix your camo. Vertical patterns and horizontal patterns for your legs.

I use most anything Mossy Oak for turkey hunting. When it come to bowhunting deer, Mossy Oak Treestand is my favorite.

What's your theory behind horizontal patterns on your legs???

I've been using Cabela's TCS ghillie Pants, Jacket w/ hood, and 3/4 face mask. It is a great lightweight camo that allows me to become a "bush" right out in the open. I've gotten away with some incredible movements with birds in plain view.

if you sit with legs straight out, a vertical pattern  like treebark pants may not blend end well with the ground cover.
