I have one of Bill Lyman's. It is fantastic. Runs every surface I've put it on.

Saw one on ebay for for $55.00.  That's a high dollar striker!

Snakewood is an expensive wood and seems to keep going up. I have a Snakewood from Bill Lyman and one from Steve Torman. Two of my favorite strikers. Like Mike said, they seem to run on any surface.

You did good. Get you a plastic sleeve to carry it in your vest.
