Had a buddy with a machine shop do the mount for me. Third season coming up. LOVE IT.

Nice! Did your friend have to fabricate a mounting plate for it. Just curious was to what modifications had to be done to make it work out? Strutter.

That's pretty cool, a lot of folks would like that cause wouldn't need to modify the gun.

 Yes the mount is one piece. Fits inside the receiver and outside the stock. Took him about a half hour after we got dementions. Thanks Lonnie

Gotcha. May go this route next year. Talked to my gunsmith who said he might could make the plate for an 870 work. Will contact Burris to see what they advise, mine is a Benelli Montefeltro 20 ga. Strutter.
