Getting real close to pulling the trigger and buying a 20 Ga Affinity. Whats everyones opinion of this gun? Also this gun runs around $800, what other guns would you recommend in this price range and under  ;)

Was VERY impressed with the one I had. Was light and handled like a dream.  Paired with a carlsons 575 and heavyweights 7s it was bad news for turkeys.

The only others I found that compare are the M2 which I have now or the SX3. The sx3 is heavier though but still a great gun. I sold my Franchi for an M2 but having had both IMO there is very very little difference between the 2

thinking about buying one also.  check your local dicks sporting goods out.  they have them on sale for $599.99 here.  going to by one to take out rabbit hunting and such.  also let my daughter shoot.  if you apply for one of their credit cards, you can get %10 off your purchase.  at least you can here, that really gives the gun a good price tag.  I have been checking around here and that is the lowest price I could find.  gun definitely feels good in the hand and shoulders well.  if you buy one, let us know how you like it.

How did the finish hold up on your Affinity?  Thinking about getting one done myself.

Just picked up a used Affinity compact 20 at the local Scheels for $649.  The salesman said it hadn't even had a box through it yet, guy traded it back in because the stock was too short.  Works out for me as I was down there looking at a new M2...  At 1/2 the price of the Benelli, I couldn't resist!

Having owned both I am very serious when I say the only difference I can feel or see is the palm swell on the Franchi is a tad more narrow and the forend is a tad wider on the Franchi. Bolt and feel was almost exactly the same.  I have times I wonder why I sold my Franchi for an M2

I have one in a 26" max 4 camo.  I absolutely love it.  I've been packing it all season behind beagles and squirrel dogs.  I like it so much, I'm thinking about one in a 12 ga.

I put a few mixed field loads through mine yesterday to test function, worked just fine despite the cold.  I would like to wring it out a little more but my patterning board is frozen to the ground.  Its -21 right now... it can wait.   ::)
