Title: Walnut Hollow Country - mounts on the wall (modified)

Happy New Year 2015 guys!!  Hope everybody had a good'un!

As part of my New Year's resolutions (not really), I decided to get all my nice turkey fans mounted & hung up on the wall.  After looking around, I decided on the all solid-wood oak mounts from Walnut Hollow Country.  They looked simple to use, and I liked their appearance.  Welp, they didn't disappoint; I'm pleased with the results (see pic).  I did take the liberty of modifying their suggested mounting of the spurs, 'cause I'm a LEG MAN (actually, I'm a butt man, but we won't go there)...  I drilled holes in the tops of the legs, ran some braided fishing line through the holes & around one of the screws in the back, and got my hot glue gun expert (aka wife) to help me attach 'em to the back...

Let me know what you guys think!  BTW, I believe that I can build a kit like this in the future & will probably do so out of reclaimed barn wood, for that rustic, country look...  But, I'm glad these are off the floor & on the wall in a nice display.

Look great bama!!!  Nice job for sure.....plus those look to have been some really nice long beards!
