Title: Just thanked my landowners today with a small Christmas gift.
Post by: Mike Honcho on December 20, 2014, 05:44:03 PM
This is something I do every Christmas season. The local landowners I hunt turkeys on I always buy them a Hickory Farms sausage and cheese tray or or similar gift and hand deliver to them.  It's a great way to thank them and always leads to the subject of turkey hunting .... "how did you do last year etc."  They always appreciate it and say " get some more birds in the spring!".  I'm in the agricultural equipment business and this helps me I am sure as I speak the farmers language.

Made for a good day today and got to spread a little Christmas cheer.

If you have folks that are kind enough to let you hunt on their land don't forget to remember  them at Christmas they'll really appreciate it.
