hey guys and gals,
I have a unique problem. last year I bought 5 boxes of FHW 7s from Bass pro. today I opened one of the boxes and discovered that the entire box is full of prairie storm 4s instead of the FHW 7s. not sure if this is from a customer pulling a switch-a-roo in the store, or if they somehow got mixed up at Federal. has anyone ever had this happen? looking for advice on how to properly rectify this. would you take it up with bass pro or Federal. Again this purchase was over a year ago and i definitely don't have a receipt. most stores have signs that say please dont open ammunition boxes so i didn't check at the time of purchase and theyve just been sitting in my safe. if im not mistaken there are no refunds on ammo. I cant help but feel wronged since Im being honest about the situation and since they are so expensive. should I just count my losses and start checking my ammo before purchase? what would you do?

Sorry it happened to you but do not see what you can do about it a year later. Maybe call the store and explain the situation. Never know, they may help you out. I open every box of ammo before I purchase it and never had anyone say a thing to me. I can either look at what I am buying to make sure it is what I am looking for or I can spend my money else where. Good luck.

Not the first time this has happened. Golf balls get the switch a roo as well. Don't feel stupid, feel informed and beware of such cheats.
