I've been pretty busy and just wanted to share some of my recent work. The first call is a Charles Jordan for my own use, made according to his directions . The German silver fittings were re-purposed from an old deteriorated Heddon fly rod. I applied rod varnish to the windings and cane, then sanded to give it some patina and made a bamboo case w/walnut end caps.
The next call is some beautiful Bois de Rose, w/horn mouthpiece and turned lip stop
Next two calls are Macassar Ebony Lil Tramp sisters, blonde and brunette ;D
The percussion shotgun in the last picture is a W W Greener I hunt with in the fall. I'm sure it could tell many stories and I hope to add more... ;)

From calls to gun...back to gun to calls....stunning work Dave. Love the setup, the old school, the master craftsmanship. Is there one of those little faces for drooling?? WE NEED ONE! ;D

I own 4 of Dave's yelpers and one is pictured here. All top notch calls that play very easy and have the tone and pitch that I look for in a yelper. You would be hard pressed to find a better call or call maker.
