Title: Schneider trucking
Post by: fastford04 on September 04, 2014, 10:48:25 AM
Does anyone on here drive for them or know some one who drives for Schneider?

I applied for a job with them an just wondering if they're a good company to work for?

Where I don't have a lot of experience she said something about maybe going to a advance training school for so many days so I guess I'll hafto see how the interview goes tomorrow.

Had a neighbor that started with them.  Went to their schooling.  Had to sign a contract to drive with them.  They said if they left Schneider, that they would have to pay back the money used to put them thru the schooling.  Can't say how accurate this is, the neighbors moved shortly after starting with them, so I never knew how they ended up.

I've heard Kennesaw are really good to drive for.  Christian owned.

Probably 20 years ago, I worked with a guy who drove for them for years.  He never had a bad thing to say about them, but again, that was probably 20 years ago.  The year before I worked with him, they gave him a brand new truck for passing 1,000,000 accident free miles.  Less than a month after that, a bull moose ripped the front off his truck...  Go figure.
