Well I plan on having the new to me BPS set up by the time the snow flies here in WI. I inherited 2 NWTF Browning shotguns this past spring from my late father-in-law. I am able to keep one and then sell the other and give the money to my mother-in-law. My plan is to shoot both and pick the best. I currently have an 870 that shoots Hevi #7 very well. My plan is to shoot Hevi #7 and #6 Longbeards out of the BPS guns and pick the best. From there, I will shoot the Longbeards out of the 870 and pick which shell shoots best out of what gun. That brings me to my question. I want to put a SumToy choke in the BPS. What one would you order for the Invector +?
One will shot Hevi and one will shoot Longbeards.
I'd give William a call, he will recommend the correct choke for shells your wanting to shoot. Great guy!! That BPS is a fine shotgun too!!!
Browning recommends a .640 e.d. for their guns with Invector+ barrels.
Recently, there was a post on this same subject and that person tried several chokes and found that the .640 worked better than anything else.

Here is my BPS 3 1/2 inch 12 gauge with a 28 inch barrel. Camo Solutions dipped it for me. I shoot a .665 Indian Creek Invector + choke in it and got over 250 hits at 40 yards on a standard sheet of paper shooting #6 Winchester Longbeards. It is my backup gun to my Benelli SBE. I am well pleased with its performance.

.665 works in mine. I killed two birds this year with#5 long beards between 40-50yds. They didn't know what hit em and they didn't wiggle after the shot. I do however respect Clarks opinion and suggest you try the .640 as well. I do not have any experience with sumtoy chokes.
I tried .643 choke with my browning gold and it shot pitiful. I had a .670 comp n choke and it put up well over 200 with the 3" longbeard 6's. In my experience Invector plus barrels like .665-.675 chokes with the shells you mentioned.

Agreed. The Comp-n-Choke .670 is my favorite lead choke for my BPS.
For #5s and 6s the 665-670 is a good choice, especially for the longbeards and hevi-shot. I have also had good luck with the 650 choke using the Winchester HV in #6s and the Old White Hevi-shot in 6s, both of which love tight chokes.
This is an excellent gun and the invector+ is forgiving on allowing multiple acceptable load combos but at the same time they produce excellent hunting patterns.

That sounds like a good plan. My INV+ BPS likes the Indian Creek .665 choke. Sumtoy also makes a choke that has been turning big numbers with the Longbeards.
