Good looking caller. Question for you, and this might be a dumb question, but are you finished tuning it? The call has a good start and mid-tone, but there isn't a finish to it, no rasp that I heard? Left like that would be an ok fall call for young birds that don't have much rasp, but for old hens, gobblers, or Jakes it will need a little rasp at least.

This on my 3rd or 4th attempt at making a call and I'm having trouble. Finding good box call tuning info. So if I wanted to make this call have more rasp on the end would I just slowly remove material from the sound boards towards the back of the call? And if so where does the material get removed? from the center,bottom, or up towards rail, or should it be removed evenly.
