Pre season I worked up a 20 ga. Remington 870 Youth Model with a Sumtoy choke and Federal Heavyweight #7. Patterned it and immediately new it was a 40 yard gun. In between guiding, I took it out and walluped a nice longbeard at 25 yards. I've killed em with bow, shotgun, and 410 ga. handgun through 51 Spring gobbler seasons so it was nice to accomplish killing one this season with a caliber Id never tried before.
