Hey y'all, I'm new to the forum and am trying to get started making my own diaphragms. I have ordered my press and materials already and I am looking for a good pair of scissors to make my cuts. Do y'all have any suggestions on what brand or style of scissors to get?
Thanks
Zach
I would look into scissors that are designed for fly tying. Dr. Slick is a good brand.
I use the small Fiskars. Super sharp. I have used the fly tying scissors, like Dr. Slicks etc., but always come back to the Fiskars.

I by some revlons at Walgreens or CVS drugstore they are keen and slinder I get a yr out of them and work fine...
If you know a surgeon they can get some amazing scissors . I've gotten some from a heart surgeon and an ENT . The ENT came up with the best pair, they are tiny with a straight cut. You can also find them on the internet, they have gold colored handles .
I use Dr. Slicks scissors in the fly dept at Cabelas.
