Title: Calling in Blinds
Post by: laststrut on May 18, 2014, 09:58:02 PM
I have been hunting in a blind for the first time this year,  I am also calling in the blind.  I am sure the muffled sound is different to a turkey when I'm calling in the blind.  Do I need to be concerned about this and call close to the window or can I call comfortably from the back of the blind? Thanks

Never noticed a problem, but when trying to reach out the call is close to the openings.

I have been running a double bull for years . I sit back in the blind and call .and I have never had any trouble calling them close.
here's a tip when hunting out of a blind ,dress in black, face mask ,gloves ,shirt . And always keep the Windows behind you closed . make sure to take camo when moving out in the woods or fields .

If it does muffle the sound that's probably for the best most call too loud anyway. The few times I've sat in a blind I've never noticed a problem..

I always call out of the back my blind and have never had any problems. the only time I call out of one of the opening is what I'm trying to get real loud and maybe locate one.
