Title: Anybody got any reports from Nebraska?
Post by: crenshawco on May 16, 2014, 09:25:01 AM
I am heading out south east of Scottsbluff next week and was just wondering what the birds are doing out there? How's the gobbling and are the hens sitting on nests already? I'm hoping I'm not going to be too late. If you don't feel like posting on here feel free to pm me. Thanks.

I have hunted a wildlife area near the area you mentioned. Lots of out=of-state hunters. Heard one gobbler the first morning, no shots.

Good luck,

Some guys I know got back from up there about a week ago. 3 killed limits in 1.5 days they said and came on home. They were up on the platte river somewhere but not sure of specifics.

Good luck on your hunt.

Hunted near Naper, NE in the beginning of the month.  Many birds slayed.
