Title: The worst part of the year
Post by: Shellwaster on May 08, 2014, 09:04:18 PM
Even though this was by far my toughest season in 14 years of hunting turkey's I'm still saddened that it is coming to a close. Due to my work schedule, Mother's Day and my anniversary it appears I will not be able to get in the woods before our 2014 season expires on the 15th. I've got 10 long months to dwell on the fact that I went without a bird but that first one of 2015 will be oh so sweet. Congrats to all of you that gave birds a ride home this season and good luck to those that are still chasing them.

Me too but it's usually when I begin shooting local 3D archery shoots, play golf, and enjoy as much time as possible with my little girl and beautiful wife. Whe I do the latter they are usually ready for deer season to begin in September. Although for me, deer hunting is a time filler before turkey season and an excuse to be in the woods.
