After taking my 2 Spring Birds in Ohio, I managed to take PA bird #1 today. Didn't set foot in the woods till 9:30am untill thunderstorms passed. I always had good luck once it clears after storms roll through. A very short hunt as I shot him at 10:10 am.
This bird weighed less than my 2 Ohio birds but had bigger spurs. He had 1 3/8in. spurs, but it wasn't the length of the spurs , as much as the girt of them as they were very thick, not sure if you can tell from the pic?
:happy0064:very nice,congrats
